I live in pain, inflict pain mercifully and I wear many masks. My eyes wander across their mirrored image and light seems dim in them. I lack confidence as I always have, and fear now furrows my brow eternally. I breathe in the scent of another, and it mixes with emotions I have not felt in so long. I have let go, and yet I still have my claws much too deep into the flesh of the ones I wound. Once, in regards to myself, someone was told to be cautious. I realize why... After years, I know why.
